<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-02-041 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A UTILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />as per the adopted strategic plan, staff conducted a recruitment for a <br />fulltime Utilities Maintenance Worker; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> an internal recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />Mr. Matt Graf has been selected as the top candidate for the Utilities <br /> <br />Maintenance Worker position; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> staff has completed the necessary background checks and is recommending <br />that Mr. Matt Graf be hired as a Utilities Maintenance Worker at $19.53 per hour, effective on or <br />near March 1, 2014. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to approve resolution #14-02-041 to hire Mr. Matt Graf as a Utilities <br />Maintenance Worker, effective on or near March 1, 2014 at $19.53 per hour <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the `foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
