Further discussion: Councilmembers Backous and Tossey stated they will support the motion but <br />do not want to waste staff or the Council's time. Mayor Strommen spoke in support of the <br />motion as it will recognize the recommendation of the EPB. <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br />7.06: Adopt Resolution #14 -01 -023 Granting Final Plat Approval for O'Shaughnessy <br />Addition Located at 17201 Saint Francis Boulevard NW; Case of Tim <br />O'Shaughnessy <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill presented the final plat for O'Shaughnessy Addition to <br />facilitate the construction of one single - family dwelling at this point. The 17 -acre Outlot is not <br />developable at this point but has potential for future subdivision with private well and septic <br />systems. This item was removed from the Consent Agenda to provide additional information. <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill stated the Planning Commission considered a <br />preliminary review. <br />Mayor Strommen opened the floor for comment. He then reported on the <br />discussion held at the January 27, 2014, Charter Commission meeting. <br />Councilmembers Riley and Backous commented on the recent StarTribune article related to the <br />City agreeing to stop an underutilized bus service extension in Ramsey. <br />City Administrator Ulrich explained that the City entered the Transit Taxing District when the <br />Rail Station- was constructed so Metro Transit was part of that project.
