CITY COUNCIL <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, October 9, 1990 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding Improvement <br />Project g00-28 (Chestnut Pond Addition). <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Aflminiswator David Harfley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowsld <br />Consulting Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Members Absent: Richard Cich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that Project g90-28 is located north of Industry Avenue and east of Sunfish <br />Lake Boulevard. The proposed subdivision was intended to provide access .to Industry Avenue <br />from Cedar Hills and Chestnut Hills. There are 17 lots in the subdivision that would be served by <br />the utilities. It is proposed to extend sewer, water, storm sewer and streets through the area. <br /> <br />The estimated cost for sewer is $25,000.00, for water is $35,000.00, for storm sewer is <br />$17,000.00 and streets is $25,000.00 for a total of $97,000.00, plus overhead, which brings the <br />project cost to $131,000.00. The estimated per unit assessment would be $7,235.00, to which an <br />added standard trunk, water and sewer cost of $1,357.00 would be added for a total estimated <br />assessment of $8,592.00 per unit. <br /> <br />The projected schedule includes the feasibility study received in August, the public hearing being <br />on October 9, order plans on October 9, approving plans in February of 1991, receiving bids in <br />March of 1991, construction beginning in April of 1991 and construction completion in July of <br />1991.
