There are a number of violations In the <br />City that are eye sores; however, he didn't think certain people <br />shoul~ be singled out. If the ordinance Is going to be enforced, <br />It should be enforced uniformly throughout the City; and the <br />Council will need to back that objective with funding. <br /> <br />Deputy Mayor Peterson felt another area that needs consideration Is <br />to work with the business community on signing. He suggested each <br />member of the new Council make a ]]st of what they would like to <br />see accomplished Dy the next ac~nlnistratlon. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated he would llke to see the Council, Ac~ninistrative <br />Staff, Police and Fire Chiefs spend a day as a group some place <br />away from City Hall to discuss ideals, goals, gu lde]ines, etc. <br />The general consensus was that the suggestion is a good one and one <br />that should De explored further. <br /> <br />Councllmember Cich wanted to address the problems with the City <br />automated system as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Deputy Mayor Peterson stated he Is working on a Performance <br />Management Plan for cutting costs, saving time and working smarter. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />MOT]ON by Counci]member-E]ect Hardin, Seconded by Councilmember- <br />Elect Beyer, to adjourn.
