11. That there is no interior or exterior business signs or display related to the Home Occupation on <br />the Subject Property. <br />12. That there shall be no more than two (2) vehicle trips per hour per standard eight (8) hour business <br />day or sixteen (16) vehicular trips within a twenty-four (24) hour period, as established in City <br />Code Sec. 117-351 (Home Occupations). <br />13. That the Applicant has stated that there may be up to four (4) vehicle trips pay day related to the <br />Home Occupation. <br />14. That the Applicant has stated that certain materials associated with the Home Occupation will be <br />stored both in the attached garage and the basement of the principal building including metal stock <br />(aluminum and steel) and shop supplies such as towels, tool bits, cutting fluids and lubricants, and <br />spray finishes. <br />15. That the fabrication, assembly and repair of firearms will include light machining with a metal lathe <br />and mill and hand work with files and sandpaper. <br />16. That the Applicant will need to obtain a Federal Firearms License from the Bureau of Alcohol, <br />Tobacco, and Firearms (BATF) prior to commencing the Home Occupation. <br />17. That all firearms affiliated with the Home Occupation will be stored in a locked gun cabinet or as <br />required by the BATF. <br />18. That the City finds that the Home Occupation does not constitute a fire hazard to neighboring <br />residences. <br />19. That the City finds that the Home Occupation does not constitute a nuisance to neighbors due to <br />excessive traffic, light glare, noise, odors, or vibrations. <br />20. That the Home Occupation does not include operations related to internal combustion engines, <br />body shops, ammunition manufacturing, motor vehicle repairs or sale. <br />21. That the Home Occupation does not employ persons that do not live on the Subject Property. <br />22. That the Home Occupation does involve operating methods that include transactions with the public <br />(customers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, etc.) on the Subject Property. <br />23. That the Home Occupation does conduct retail sales on the Subject Property. <br />24. That the Home Occupation business hours are proposed to be 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday <br />through Friday and by appointment only on Saturdays. The Home Occupation will not operate on <br />Sundays. <br />25. That all structures shall comply with all applicable codes, including, but not limited to, building, <br />fire and zoning. <br />26. That the Applicant will utilize a bullet trap to test fire firearms to check their functionality. <br />27. That the bullet trap will be located in the basement of the principal building against a concrete <br />foundation wall. <br />RESOLUTION #14-02-044 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
