The
primary purpose of this interchange construction project is to improve public safety and reduce traffic congestion
on US Highway 10 by constructing a grade- separated interchange and an overpass of the BNSF railroad line. The
project will also include reconstructing CSAH 83 (Armstrong Boulevard) from a two -lane to an urban four -lane
roadway from Riverdale Drive to Sunwood Drive, and realigning Riverdale Drive.
In some cases, additional right -of -way or easements will have to be acquired by direct purchase and/or eminent
domain, involving selected property owners on this project.
Because your property is within the project boundaries, Anoka County may need to acquire a part of your property.
In the near future, you will be contacted by an Anoka County Right -of -Way Agent to obtain information
concerning your property. Enclosed is a brief outline of the acquisition process for property owners affected by an
Anoka County Highway project.
If you have any specific questions regarding any phase of this project, please contact us at your convenience; we
are available to discuss plans, answer question or dispel rumors.
