d) <br /> <br />On premise address or nameplate identification signs having a sign area of 4 square feet or <br />less. <br /> <br />e) Signs erected by a governmental unit or public school district. <br /> <br />Memorial plaques or tablets, grave markers, statutory, or other remewmbrances of persons <br />or events that are non-commercial in nature. <br /> <br />g) <br /> <br />Interior Signs which are fully located within the interior of any building or stadium, or <br />within an enclosed lobby or court of any building, or in the lobby or entrance of any theatre <br />which are intended solely for information relating to the interior operation of the building in <br />which they are located. <br /> <br />h) On-premise construction signs having a sign area of 80 square feet or less. <br /> <br />i) On-premise temporary real estate signs. <br /> <br />j) Garage sale signs. <br /> <br />9.12.18 APPLICATION <br /> <br />Subd. 1 <br /> <br />Application for permits shall be made upon forms provided by the Zoning <br />Administrator and shall state or have attached thereto the following information: <br /> <br />The names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the applicant, the owner of the property <br />on which the sign is to be erected or affixed, the owner of the sign, and the person to be <br />erecting or affixing the sign. <br /> <br />b. Type of sign. <br /> <br />c. Type of construction materials to be used. <br /> <br />Location of building, structure or lot to which, or upon which, the sign is to be attached or <br />erected. <br /> <br />Position of the sign or other advertising structures in relation to the nearest buildings, <br />structures, public streets, right-of-ways and property lines, along with location and square <br />footage areas for ail existing signs on the same premises. The drawing showing such <br />position shall be prepared "to scale"; <br /> <br />Two blueprints or ink drawings of the plans and specifications, and method of construction <br />or attachment to the building or in the ground, including all dimensions, locating all light <br />sources, wattage, t.vpe and color of lights and details of any light shields or shades. <br /> <br />Copy of stress sheets and calculations, showing the structure is designated for dead load <br />and wind velocity in the amount required by this and all other ordinances of the City, if <br />required by the Zoning Administrator or Building Official.
