Pastor Barrows of Grace Community Bible
Church has applied for a conditional use permit to construct a parsonage on the same lot as the
church at 6341 - 167th Avenue N.W. The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public
hearing regarding this CUP on March 5, 1991. The concerns expressed at the public hearing were:
1) not a sufficient amount of adequate soils to support another septic system; and 2) future use of
the church structure if the church left the subject site. The Planning and Zoning Commission is
recommending approval of the request for a CUP.

Discussion ensued regarding what would happen if the church use ceased.

Ms. Frolik stated that if the church use ceases, another CUP would have to be applied for before
another use could be allowed there.

City Council proceeded to review the findings of fact.

Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt Findings of
Fact #0292 relating to a request from Grace Community Bible Church for a conditional use
permit.

Motion carried.
