Subd. 5 Real Estate Signs: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Temporary real estate signs may be erected for the purpose of selling, <br />promoting or leasing a residential project of ~ four (4) or more <br />dwelling units or any non-residential project. Temporary real estate signs <br />for the purpose of leasing, selling or promoting a residential project or any <br />non-residential project are: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />exempt from the permit and fee requirements but shall be allowed <br />only as accessory to an approved subdivision plat or site plan; <br /> <br />2) limited to sixty-four square feet in area; <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon which the <br />property abuts; <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />to be removed when the project is ninety c, ......... , fo~o~x one- <br />hundred percent (100%) completed, sold or leased; <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />not to be located within one hundred (100 feet) of a pre-existing <br />residence. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Temporary real estate signs for the purpose of selling or leasing individual <br />lots or buildings in any district are permitted and are: <br /> <br />1) exempt from the permit and fee requirements; <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />limited to six (6) square feet in area for residential property and <br />twenty four (24) thirty-two (32) square feet for non-residential <br />property; <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />limited to one (1) such sign per street frontage upon which the <br />property abuts (EXCEPTION: An additional "Open House" sign <br />may be used); <br /> <br />4) to be removed within thirty (30) days following the lease or sale. <br /> <br />Subd. 6 <br /> <br />Portable Signs are permitted only in business and industrial type districts and are <br />subject to temporary permit and fee requirements. Temporary sign permits for <br />portable signs shall be allowed for ten (10) day periods, four (4) times a year per <br /> <br />9.12.06 DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br /> <br />In addition to those signs permitted or required in all districts as described in Section 9.12.03 <br />(General Provisions) and 9.12.05 (Tempora_ry Signs), the following signs are permitted in each <br />specific district and shall be regulated as to size, location and character according to the <br />requirements herein set forth. <br /> <br />Sign Ord.
