Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #14-03-054 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR 2014 STREET SWEEPING PROGRAM <br />WHEAREAS, an invitation for quotations were mailed to three contractors; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for quotes published on February 14, 2014 and <br />February 21, 2014 for the 2014 Street Sweeping Program, quotes were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the quotes that were received: <br />Contractor <br />Pearson Bros. Inc. <br />Allied Blacktop Co. <br />Total Bid <br />$28,000.00 <br />$34,350.00 <br />WHEREAS, Pearson Bros. Inc.is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Pearson Bros.
