The terms of what has been agreed to is being 'put in writing' via the attached Memorandum of Understanding and Commitment agreement so that
all parties are in full accord with expectations and responsibilities. ARAA has indicated that construction is desired to commence in the spring of 2014. This
agreement is nearly identical to the agreement for Central Park in 2011-12, and was approved by the City Attorney at the time.
Attached is a site location map.
Observations/Alternatives:
Funding Source:
There are no known city costs, but for a nominal electrical expense for the pitching machines, however this is likely to not be discernable on the monthly electric
bill for the irrigation booster pump, the source for both the power supplies.
Recommendation:
Staff recommends approval of the batting cage building for Alpine Park pursuant to the agreement.
Action:
Motion to approve/not approve the Memorandum of Understanding and Commitment agreement, acknowledging ARAA's proposed donation of batting cages
for Alpine Park.
Site Location
Aereement
Attachments
Form Review
Inbox Reviewed By Date
Grant Riemer Grant Riemer 03/06/2014 08:45 AM
Kurt Ulrich Kurt Ulrich 03/06/2014 03:45 PM
Form Started By: Mark Riverblood Started On: 03/05/2014 02:04 PM
Final Approval Date: 03/06/2014
