in his opinion this would not be an annual recognition but would occur following something that <br />should be recognized. He noted that the Park and Recreation Commission does already have a <br />recognition program and advised that he will most likely review that criteria as a starting point. <br />Board Member Lewis asked that the Board receive that criteria used by other Commissions or <br />even GreenStep Cities prior to the next meeting so that there is enough time to review the <br />information. <br />City Councilmember Letourneau expressed his thanks to City Planner Anderson for bringing <br />forward the issue of recognizing the Girl Scouts for their efforts. <br />6. BOARD / STAFF INPUT <br />Board Member Bentz noted that on the Itasca Trail there is simply a recycling bin and believed a <br />garbage bin should also be placed there to prevent people from dumping trash into the recycling. <br />City Councilmember Letourneau noted that it has been one year that has passed and expressed <br />his appreciation to the Board for their efforts. He also thanked City Planner Anderson for all of <br />his hard work. <br />7.
