Councilmember Peterson stated that there is also a need for a policy in Ramsey that will set rates <br />for the rental of sports fields for tournaments that will cover the cost of electricity, maintenance, <br />trash removal, etc. Mark Boos stated that he and the Park Commission have been drafting such a <br />policy and he will have it to the City Council as soon as it has been reviewed by the Budget <br />Committee. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of those present that the Personnel Committee should work with Personnel <br />Coordinator Kay McAtoney and Department Heads to draft a policy regarding when staff should <br />be paid for participating in community events. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br />workshop. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None.
