He feels that a 90-day review of the Highway #10 Corridor would <br />ensure that this property owner is being treated fairly. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Cich to schedule a public <br />hearing in 90 days (September) and to direct City Staff to review the Highway #10 Corridor. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mayor Gilbenson asked Mr. Wojcik if he understands what is expected of him <br />to which Mr. Wojcik stated he understood and he will have one repairable car at a time. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Cich and Beyer. <br />Voting No; None. Absent: Councilmember Peterson. <br /> <br />Case g7: Research Regarding Poultry/Fowl Regulations <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik reported that the issue of rules for keeping poultry and fowl has been a recent subject of <br />discussion at City Council. She contacted other cities to find out their rules for the keeping of <br />poultry and fowl and provided Council with that information. She asked Council's input for <br />acreage on keeping poultry and fowl. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin suggested five acres. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to direct the City <br />Administrator, the Zoning Administrator and the Planning and Zoning Commission to review and <br />propose amendments to Section 5.09 (Animals and Fowl) of the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Hardin, Beyer and Cich. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberPeterson. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />I ) QCTV Policy <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated she read an article in the Anoka Union regarding the personnel policy <br />for QCTV which stated the Quad Cities Cable Commission voted to cut back on holidays <br />(Christmas Eve Day). She stated she "could see no reason for cutting back" and that she "has a <br />real problem messing with people's policies". <br /> <br />2) Recodification of the City Code <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin suggested getting quotes on the cost to have a consultant assist with <br />figuring out the conflicting parts of the City Code. <br /> <br />3 ) Grant Application <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer stated that the grant application (wood chipper) was excellent and that Staff <br />should be commended and complimented on a job well done. <br /> <br />City Council/June 11, 1991 <br /> Page 7 of 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
