June 25 <br /> <br />RAI"ISEY I-1AYOR &, CITY COUNCILPIEMBERS <br />City of Ramsey <br />!5153 No~tthen Blvd. <br />Rarr, se y, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Dear Playor and Counc i lmembers: <br /> <br />Because of the deterioration of our. business and the decline <br />of interest in our neighborhood by legitimate patrons, of our <br />daycar'e, we are hereby making the following requests fr. om <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />We would like financial support in the amount of $25,000.00 <br />for the past year and $25,000.00 for each following year the <br />bookstore remains in its present location. <br /> <br />Our business has declined substanially since the XX× Adult <br />Bookstore was. allo~,ed to open its doors (and booths) for <br />business. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey has. budgeted a huge amount of money for. <br />attorney's fees just to represent us in the courts in <br />connect i or, t~i th the. bookstore. <br /> <br />There is TIF financing available. No~,, t...~e ~,ould like ..,'our <br />financial support to enable Small World [.'aycare to exist in <br />this communi ry. <br /> <br />I~le ha,,~e been here for many years, and have contributed both <br />personal 1 y and f i narc i al 1 y through our taxes i n the support <br />o¥ our corrtmuni t>'. <br /> <br />Now ~e need your help. <br /> <br />>'our turn to support us. <br /> <br />$25,000.00 is the bare minimum ~e need to stay in business. <br />We have lost more than that 'in the first 12 months of the <br />bookstore existence. <br /> <br />THERE MUST BE A WAY! <br /> <br /> <br />
