GOALS FOR 1992
By: James Gromberg, Project Manager

CASE #2

Background:

As 1991 draws to a close, the Economic Development Commission needs to look forward as to
the goals that the Commission would like to accomplish for 1992. In the past, the EDC has not set
concrete goals by which we as a Commission have measured our success or failure. For 1992, I
would propose that we try to do this by the setting of goals and a time table by which to judge our
performance. For discussion purposes, the following are ideas for goals for 1992.

1)
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)

Development of a chamber group
Ordinance proposals
Business Fair
Business Visitation Program
Business Appreciation and EXPO
Monument sign installation

Recommendation:

After discussion the EDC should develop some ideas regarding goals for 1992. This may only be
the development of ideas with the final goals coming at a later meeting.

Review Checklist:

Project Manager
City Administrator

EDC: 10-16-91
