who resides in the Dwelling Unit on the subject property. Permits are not transferable from <br />person to person or from address to address, unless the transfer is in accordance with the <br />provisions of Subd. 7.a (General Provisions) of this sub-section. <br /> <br />Subd. 7. <br /> <br />General Provisions <br /> <br />Should a Home Occupation Permit holder die or move to a new location, the <br />existing Permit shall be automatically terminated. Except that in the case of <br />death, should a surviving spouse or child, residing at the same address or <br />receiving title to the property desire to continue the home occupation, <br />written notice to that effect shall be given to the Zoning Administrator and <br />the Council may authorize continuation of that Permit without further <br />hearing. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />A Home Occupation Permit, once granted, may be revoked prior to its <br />original revocation date by the Council for cause after hearing before the <br />Council. Citizen complaints seeking the revocation of such permit shall be <br />filed with the Zoning Administrator. All such revocation hearings, <br />publication and notice requirements shall be the same as for Conditional Use <br />Permits in accordance with Sub-section 9.03.05 of this Code. <br /> <br />Persons conducting a business from property zoned for residential use on the <br />effective date of this Section shall be required to obtain a Home Occupation <br />Permit as required herein. The business may continue pending final <br />determination of the application. Should the Council deny the application for <br />a Home Occupation Permit the use shall immediately cease at such residential <br />premises. <br /> <br /> Subd. 8. Garage Sales, Consignment, and Boutiques. Garage sales, <br />consignments and boutiques are permitted without a conditional use permit provided the <br />following performance standards are met: <br /> <br />a. Sales last no longer than five (5) days. <br /> <br />b. Sales are held no more than twice yearly. <br /> <br />Sales are conducted on the owner's property. Multiple family sales are <br />permitted if they are held on the property of one of the participants. <br />Directional signs may be placed on the street right-of-way. <br /> <br />All directional and advertising signs shall be freestanding and removed <br />within 24 hours after completion of the sale. <br /> <br />All directional and advertising signs placed on private property shall have <br />the owner's permission. <br /> <br /> <br />
