The <br />EDA recommended City Council approval of the CDBG application as proposed. Staff is <br />requesting City Council authorization to submit an application to Anoka County for CDBG funds <br />in the amount of $300,000.00 to assist in the acquisition of the B&A Cylinder property and Lots <br />1 and 2, Block 2, Gateway North Industrial Park for redevelopment. <br /> <br />City Staff is recommending that the City Council authorize City Staff to provide the Anoka <br />County Parks Department with a letter of support for their CDBG application. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #03-12- directing City Staff to make application to Anoka County <br />for CDBG funds in the amount of $300,000.00 to assist in the acquisition of the B&A Cylinder <br />property and Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Gateway North Industrial Park. <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to direct City Staff to draft a letter in support of the City of Anoka Parks Department <br />CDBG application for funding to expand their transportation service for senior citizens to include <br />portions of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Administrator <br />Assistant City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br />TIF Specialist <br /> <br />CC: 12/16/32 <br /> <br /> <br />
