introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-12- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR 2004 COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a request for proposal from Anoka County for <br />the Community Development Block Grant Program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 16, 2003, the Ramsey City Council authorized City Staff~ to <br />submit a proposal to Anoka County in the amount of $300,000.00 to assist in the acquisition of <br />the B&A Cylinder property at 14165 Ramsey Blvd. N.W. and Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Gateway <br />North Industrial Park to eliminate blight for future redevelopment; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey hereby applies to Anoka County for 2004 CDBG funds in the <br />amount of $300,000.00 for the acquisition of property for the purpose of eliminating blight <br />and causing redevelopment. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 16th day of December, 2004. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
