<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-03-059 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A PART-TIME I.T. SUPPORT TECHNICIAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />as per the adopted strategic plan, staff conducted a recruitment for a part- <br />time I.T. Support Technician; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> an internal and external recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />Mr. Calvin Kubat has been selected as the top candidate for the position; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> staff has completed the necessary background checks and is recommending <br />that Mr. Calvin Kubat be hired as a Part-time I.T. Support Technician at $20.06 per hour, <br />effective on or near March 12, 2014. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #14-03-059 to hire Mr. Calvin Kubat as a Part-time I.T. <br />Support Technician at $20.06 per hour, effective on or near March 12, 2014. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the `foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
