Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-03-066 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A REPLACEMENT COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />staff conducted a recruitment for one fulltime Community Service Officer <br />to fill the position recently vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> an internal recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />Ms. Laura Kroll has been selected as the top candidate for the position; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> staff has completed the necessary background investigation and pre- <br />employment testing and is recommending that Ms. Laura Kroll be hired as a fulltime Community <br />Service Officer at $17.57 per hour, effective on or near April 1, 2014. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #14-03-066 to hire Ms. Laura Kroll as a fulltime Community <br />Service Officer at $17.57 per hour, effective on or near April 1, 2014. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the `foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> <br />
