Chairperson Nixt stated it was hard to comment on those now, as they need more information. <br />He added Mr. Wirz could use open space to help mitigate smaller issues. <br /> <br />Commissioner Watson asked who would be assessed when City sewer and water came in. <br /> <br />Mr. Wirz stated it would be ready to be hooked up, without tearing up the streets, so he does not <br />believe assessment would be necessary at that time. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Chairperson Nixt, to table the <br />request for sketch plan review of River Park. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Bauer, Reeve, <br />Shepherd, Van Scoy and Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #7 <br /> <br />Zoning Bulletin <br /> <br />The Zoning Bulletin was noted. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon indicated that during the January meeting the Commission agreed to <br />have Chapter 9 on the February 20 agenda, however Staff is not yet ready. He clarified for the <br />new Commission members that this is the zoning code. He suggested this be moved to March. <br />He also noted that the joint meeting with the Environmental Policy Task Force, the Park and <br />Recreation Board and the Planning Commission will be held on March 20. He does not currently <br />have the time but will let the Commission know. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johnson asked that Staff be cautious about wording such as 'what is in it for the <br />City'. He stated that his philosophy is if' someone wants to do something, let them do it unless <br />there is a good reason not to. He indicated that sometimes those types of statements can sound <br />like 'what is in it for City Hall'. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
