Animal Control <br />There were 3 dogs impounded at the Anoka Containment Facility. They were all released to <br />their owners. <br />Code Enforcement <br />Thirty (30) new complaints were logged for blight and parking issues in April. Officers issued <br />administrative citations for 20 overnight parking violations and one (1) loose dog. <br />Crime Prevention <br />1. Adopt A Spot — Annual reminder to adoptee's to schedule their spring cleanup projects. <br />Information sent out to perspective adoptee. <br />2. Safety Camp Planning — Continue to work on completing the presentation schedule and <br />put together planning information for Fire. Reconciled JD Edwards report. <br />3. Media — Put together police/fire visit for Keagan Flannery — media release for event. <br />4. Training — Attended training on transporting children safely in buses. Participated in Use <br />of Force training. Attended ArcGIS training at Logis. <br />5. Bike Helmet Clinic — Inventoried helmets, distributed 4000 flyers to all elementary <br />schools in Anoka/Ramsey area. <br />6. , Daycare Background Checks — Processed 27 daycare background checks. <br />7. False Alarms — Processed 30 false alarm reports which included sending out warning <br />letters and invoices for fines. <br />8. Youth First — Attended monthly Board of Director's meeting. Attended quarterly finance <br />meeting. Assisted with afternoon program at Ramsey Neighborhood Center. <br />9. Business Registration Certificate (BRC) — Prepared case for council on ordinance <br />changes. Entered business registration forms/changes into PIMS. Updated 2009 <br />delinquent list — referred to patrol to do follow-up. <br />10. Media reports for Star Tribune —processed weekly media report requests <br />11. Car Seat Checks — Held annual car seat clinic at Fire 1. We sold 129 helmets in various <br />sizes from toddler to adult, and professionally fit 38 helmets that were brought in. <br />Provided 5 individual car seat inspections at the police department. <br />12. Prepared Monthly Police Stats — completed January through March monthly stats for the <br />police activity. <br />13. Grants — Applied for alcohol compliance check grant through MN Institute of Public <br />Health. <br />14. Operation ID — Provided information to a Crime Watch group on participating in <br />Operation ID. <br />2 <br />
