CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 04/22/2014 <br />By: Diana Lund, Finance <br />Information <br />Title <br />Approval From Exemption for a Gambling License for Capable Partners <br />4. 7. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: The State Gambling Board requires a city to give approval to a non-profit organization for a gambling <br />event that is located within its city limits by acknowledging this approval by signing off on an application for <br />exempt permit. <br />The attached application is from Capable Partners for exemption from a lawful gambling license to hold a <br />fund-raising raffle at Game Fair the weekends of August 8-10 and August 15-17, 2014.
