The new truck is on order and expected to <br />be delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2014. <br />Also, the existing rescue boat (DNR excess inventory program) was replaced by a new Zodiac boat. Motor, trailer <br />and gear were transferred to the new boat. <br />Listed below are the Nowthen owned apparatus and specifications of each: <br />Vehicle <br />2012 Engine #31 <br />1989 Tanker#31 <br />2008 Grass #31 <br />Pump Capacity On -Board Water # of Staff Carried <br />1250 gpm 1000 gallons 6 <br />n/a 1900 gallons 2 <br />Not Rated 225 gallons 3 <br />*It should be noted that Nowthen took delivery of a 2012 Rosenbauer Engine in 2013. Truck carries 1000 gallons of <br />water and carries 6 FF's. This replaces the 1989 Engine #31. <br />Shared Services <br />Members from the communities of Ramsey, Nowthen, St Francis and Bethel met throughout 2013 working out <br />details on a possible shared fire service structure. The group continues to work on Cost Share Models and the <br />details of a Relief consolidation. <br />
