HRA BUSINESS <br />5.01: Adopt Resolution #HRA 14 -04 -067 Approving Sale of Residential Parcels Owned by <br />the Ramsey HRA of the City of Ramsey <br />This Case was considered following Case 5.02. <br />5.02: Consider Letter of Interest from Affordable Housing Developer <br />Executive Director LaFrance reviewed the staff report and recommendation to consider a Letter <br />of Interest from a regional affordable housing developer to develop Parcel #52 located in the <br />Southeast Quadrant of Bunker Lake Boulevard and Town Center Drive. He advised that under <br />Minnesota Statutes, the meeting can move into Closed Session to discuss the Letter of Intent <br />from an affordable housing developer. <br />Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Kuzma, to move to Closed Session <br />to discuss acquisition negotiations. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Backous, Commissioners Riley, Kuzma, Johns, <br />LeTourneau, Strommen and Tossey. Voting No: None. <br />The HRA meeting moved into a Closed Session at 7:56 p.m. <br />The HRA reconvened in Open Session at 8:49 p.m. <br />HRA Executive Director LaFrance stated the HRA held discussion on a Letter of Intent and staff <br />received direction to continue negotiations to the April 22, 2013 meeting. <br />5.01: Adopt Resolution #HRA 14 -04 -067 Approving Sale of Residential Parcels Owned by <br />the Ramsey HRA of the City of Ramsey <br />Commissioner Tossey disclosed that he has had a financial dealing with this particular company <br />and recused himself from this Case. Commissioner Tossey left the Chambers at 8:50 p.m. and <br />did not return. <br />Executive Director LaFrance reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt the draft <br />Resolution to formally authorize the sale of the four North Commons residential lots to Purmort <br />Homes, Inc. at a price of $40,000 for the two outside lots and $37,000 for the two inside lots for <br />a total price of $154,000. <br />Chairperson Backous thanked CBRE and staff for its work on this sales transaction, which will <br />remove property from the HRA's asset list and put it back on the City's tax rolls. <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority / April 8, 2014 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
