THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUN- TY, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS: SECTION 1. SUMMARY. The following is the official sum- mary of Ordinance #13 -20, which has been approved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance. It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #13 -20 to replace ex- pired Ordinance #92 -13 thereby continuing to grant the Company (Connexus Energy), for a period of 20 years from the date passed and approved by the City (City of Ramsey), the right to transmit and furnish electric energy for public and private use within and through the limits of the City. For these pur- poses, Company may construct, operate, repair and maintain Elec- tric Facilities in, on, over, under and across the Public Ways and Public Grounds of City subject to the pro- visions of this ordinance. Company may do all reasonable things nec- essary or customary to accomplish these purposes, subject, however, to such reasonable regulations as may be imposed by the City pursu- ant to ordinance and to the further provisions of this franchise agree- ment.
