Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #14-05-090 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #12-22; <br />RIVERDALE DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION AND EXTENSION FROM ARMSTRONG <br />BOULEVARD (CSAH 83) TO TRAPROCK STREET <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted January 8, 2013, <br />authorizing the City of Ramsey Engineering Department to prepare plans and specifications with <br />reference to Improvement Project 12-22, Riverdale Drive Reconstruction and Extension from <br />Armstrong Blvd (CSAH 83) to Traprock Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been awarded a Cooperative Agreement grant for <br />the construction of Improvement Project #12-22 in the maximum amount of $702,000; and <br />WHEREAS, a contractor for Improvement Project #12-22 must be under contract by <br />June 30, 2014 in order for the city to receive the awarded grant funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) The City Council hereby accepts the final plans and specifications prepared by the City of <br />Ramsey Engineering Department for the making of such improvements, and authorizes <br />the advertisement of bids for the same improvements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />none <br />and the following abstained: <br />none <br />RESOLUTION #14-05-090 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
