The site evaluation is considered the first <br />phase of an ISTS design. <br />Statutory Authority: MS s 115.03; 115.55 <br />History: 32 SR 1347 <br />Published Electronically: October 10, 2013 <br />7080.1710 PRELIMINARY EVALUATION. <br />A preliminary evaluation of a proposed site for an ISTS consists of determining the following items: <br />A. design flow, anticipated effluent concentrations of biochemical oxygen demand, total <br />suspended solids, and oil and grease, and anticipated presence of nondomestic waste from the dwelling, <br />dwellings, or other establishments; <br />B. proposed or existing: <br />(1) water supply wells within 100 feet of the proposed ISTS; <br />(2) noncommunity transient public water supply wells within 200 feet of the proposed <br />ISTS if alternative local standards are in effect; <br />(3) a community or noncommunity nontransient water supply in a drinking water supply <br />management area if alternative local standards are in effect; <br />(4) existing and proposed buildings or improvements on the lot; and <br />(5) buried water supply pipes within 50 feet of the proposed system; <br />C. easements on the lot; <br />D. the ordinary high water level of public waters, if adjacent to the lot; <br />Copyright ©2014 by the Rev <br />so <br />of Statutes, State of Minnesota.
