New Firefighters <br />7 new firefighters began during the 1st quarter; 3 at station #1, 2 at station #2, 2 at station #3. <br />Schematic Design of Replacement Fire Station <br />Process that began in 2013 is close to completion. Waiting on final estimates of total project costs from architect. <br />Shared Fire Services <br />Study group continues to meet. Group has identified 2 primary issues to further research; creating a draft JPA <br />including how governance would be structured, financial impacts of bringing all 3 Relief Associations (Firefighters <br />Retirements) up to the highest departments which is Ramsey. Each respective city will be bringing a resolution <br />forward to fund consultants to perform the above mentioned analysis. <br />
