<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-04-074 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2014 COUNCIL ORGANIZATION RESOLUTION <br />(14-01-007) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />each year the City Council adopts an organization resolution appointing members <br />of the Council and staff to Committees, Boards, etc. and such Resolution was adopted on January 14, <br />2014; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Council appointed Councilmember Jason Tossey to serve as the Council <br />representative on the Youth First Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Councilmember Tossey has requested removal from that appointment as his work <br />commitments have increased and he feels he cannot fulfill his obligation to Youth First in a manner he <br />deems acceptable; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Councilmember Johns has agreed to serve as Council representative on the Youth <br />First Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />this resolution is being brought forward for adoption amending the 2014 <br />Organization Resolution by removing the appointment of Councilmember Tossey, at his request, and <br />appointing Councilmember Johns to serve in his place as Council representative to the Youth First <br />Board. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That upon adoption of this Resolution, Councilmember Jill Johns is the appointed <br />Council representative to the Youth First Board for year 2014. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
