Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #14-04-074 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2014 COUNCIL ORGANIZATION RESOLUTION (14-01-007) WHEREAS, each year the City Council adopts an organization resolution appointing members of the Council and staff to Committees, Boards, etc. and such Resolution was adopted on January 14, 2014; and WHEREAS, the Council appointed Councilmember Jason Tossey to serve as the Council representative on the Youth First Board; and WHEREAS, Councilmember Tossey has requested removal from that appointment as his work commitments have increased and he feels he cannot fulfill his obligation to Youth First in a manner he deems acceptable; and WHEREAS, Councilmember Johns has agreed to serve as Council representative on the Youth First Board; and WHEREAS, this resolution is being brought forward for adoption amending the 2014 Organization Resolution by removing the appointment of Councilmember Tossey, at his request, and appointing Councilmember Johns to serve in his place as Council representative to the Youth First Board. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1)That upon adoption of this Resolution, Councilmember Jill Johns is the appointed Council representative to the Youth First Board for year 2014. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Strommen Councilmember LeTourneau Councilmember Kuzma Councilmember Backous Councilmember Johns Councilmember Riley Councilmember Tossey and the following voted against the same: None
