<br /> <br />Commissioner LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION HRA #14-04-078 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT ANOKA COUNTY HOUSING AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (HRA) ALLOCATE $250,000 OF ITS LEVY <br />TOWARD THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLEX BY <br />COMMON BOND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />annually the Anoka County HRA levies an HRA levy on Ramsey residents; <br />and <br />WHEREAS <br />, the levy has been used to help in funding certain development projects <br />within the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) is <br />requesting that the Anoka County HRA utilize its available tax levy in the amount not to exceed <br /> <br />$250,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the total requested funds from the Anoka County HRA for the development <br />of an affordable housing complex by Common Bond will be in the amount of $250,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br />, the City of Ramsey HRA is committed to partnering with the Anoka <br />County HRA to continue maintaining and developing a healthy City for the benefit of all. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSING AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey HRA authorizes the request to the Anoka County HRA to allocate <br />$250,000 of its levy toward the development of an affordable housing complex by <br />Common Bond in Ramsey, Minnesota . <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Backous <br /> Commissioner Strommen <br /> Commissioner LeTourneau <br /> Commissioner Johns <br /> Commissioner Kuzma <br /> Commissioner Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Tossey <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
