Public Works Committee 5. 3. Meeting Date: 04/15/2014 By: Bruce Westby, Engineering/Public Works Title: Update on Feasibility Reports for Garnet Street and Andrie Street. Purpose/Background: The purpose of this case is to provide updates on the status of the Feasibility Reports for reconstructing Andrie Street, as well as Garnet and 168th Streets. Per direction from the Public Works Committee, staff is updating the Feasibility Report for reconstructing Andrie Street by removing the off -road sidewalk facilities and incorporating on -road bicycle lanes. Staff anticipates presenting the updated Feasibility Report to the Public Works Committee during the next regularly scheduled meeting on May 20th. Per direction from the City Council, staff is preparing a Feasibility Report for reconstructing Garnet and 168th Streets north of 167th Street. Staff anticipates presenting the draft Feasibility Report to the City Council on May 13th. The report will include estimated project costs and funding sources, including options for assessing a portion of the costs to benefiting properties.
