March 6, 2014 <br />The following are brief updates regarding development projects located within the community. For more detailed information, <br />please contact the Community Development Department at 763-433-9824, plannina@cityoframsev.com or see this report <br />online at www.cityoframsey.com/DevelopmentUpdate. <br />Brookfield 4th Addition Successfully Recorded <br />On Tuesday, March 4, 2014, Brookfield Land LLC (Capstone Homes) successfully recorded the Plat of Brookfield 4th <br />Addition, which currently consists of thirty-two (32) single-family lots. Capstone Homes expects to begin mobilizing <br />equipment to begin construction on the required public improvements the week of March 10 in advance of seasonal road <br />restrictions. Construction of these improvements are anticipated at a later date. Staff has advised the contactor to avoid use of <br />Garnet Street at 168th Avenue. <br />Comment Period Open for Thrive MSP 2040: Metropolitan Council Regional Framework <br />On February 26, 2014, the Metropolitan Council released the Regional Development Framework (Thrive MSP 2040) for <br />public comment. The framework sets goals for the remainder of the regional planning process, including future growth <br />forecasts, the Transportation Policy Plan, the Water Resources Policy Plan, the Regional Parks Policy Plan, and the Housing <br />Policy Plan. Comments are due on the framework by April 28, 2014. A copy of the framework will be distributed to the <br />Planning Commission at their March 6, 2014 meeting and will discuss potential official comment at their April 3, 2014 <br />
