The bill would give municipalities the final say over whether a casino <br />development could move into their community. More specifically, the <br />proposed legislation would "establish a clear procedure for localities to ap- <br />prove or disapprove of a siting." <br />Source: Saratogian News; www.saratogian.com <br />PENNSYLVANIA <br />The City of Pittsburgh is considering a land -bank bill that would affect how <br />parcels across the city could be redeveloped. The proposed legislation would <br />create a seven -member board, which would act as "a central clearinghouse for <br />blighted, vacant or tax -delinquent properties."
