Lake Ramsey <br />Economic Development Manager LaFrance advised that a meeting has been scheduled for <br />Thursday, March 19th, to discuss Lake Ramsey. <br />Builder/Developer Networking Event <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill thanked the EDA for hosting this event and stated that <br />staff received a lot of good information about ways to improve City processes. <br />Highway 10 Study <br />Development Services Manager Gladhill encouraged everyone to attend the open house on <br />February 26th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Greenhaven. <br />Member LeTourneau requested that staff identify the properties along the corridor that the City <br />owns as well as which properties are privately owned. <br />Greater MSP Salesforce System <br />Economic Development Manager LaFrance stated that staff recommends utilizing a more robust <br />system available through Greater MSP designed specifically for economic development that will <br />enable staff to work more efficiently and will allow staff to input all business visits. He advised <br />the cost is $400 annually and would come out of the professional services budget. <br />It was the consensus of the EDA to direct staff to expend $400 annually for the Greater MSP <br />Salesforce System. <br />5. MEMBER/STAFF INPUT <br />Member Riley requested an update on the Nordvick property. <br />Member Hardin left the EDA meeting at 9:09 a.m. <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Brama explained this property was acquired for the future <br />Armstrong interchange and the City is currently holding on the site until it completes the closing <br />on the adjacent property and when that occurs, the City will have one contiguous property. He <br />advised the City received a letter of interest from a prospect interested in a retail use on the 8020 <br />parcel but the offer was below market value and staff is waiting to hear back from the prospect. <br />Economic Development Manager LaFrance advised that a closing date of February 25th has been <br />scheduled for the McDonalds site. <br />6.
