Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION # 14-05-095 RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES MANAGER WHEREAS , Mr. Tim Gladhill, the current Development Services Manager, has demonstrated exceptional performance; and WHEREAS , the adopted three-year strategic plan calls for a reclassification of the Development Services Manager in January 2015; and WHEREAS , staff recommends the reclassification be moved up to June 1, 2014; and WHEREAS, this reclassification is necessary to promote continuity of service to the public through effective staffing management; and WHEREAS, staff recommends reclassifying Mr. Tim Gladhill, the current Development Services Manager, to Community Development Director effective June 1, 2014, to step 1 of the 2014 wage scale at $40.28 per hour, followed by a step change on December 1, 2014 to step 2 of the wage scale at $42.30 per hour, contingent upon continued exceptional performance; waiving the 6-month probationary period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, 1) Motion to approve resolution #14-05-095, reclassifying Mr. Tim Gladhill, the current Development Services Manager, to Community Development Director effective June 1, 2014, to step 1 of the 2014 wage scale at $40.28 per hour, followed by a step change on December 1, 2014 to step 2 of the wage scale at $42.30 per hour, contingent upon continued exceptional performance; waiving the 6-month probationary period.
