CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:33 p.m. <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />Fire Chief Kapler mentioned the Rum River is rising and will likely rise another foot, or more if <br />there is a large rain. If there are more rainstorms, there are properties that may have issues with <br />flooding. He noted staff is keeping watch on this issue and is gathering resources if needed for <br />residents. <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked whether Ramsey would provide the sandbags and sand or provide <br />resources for these items. <br />Fire Chief Kapler answered the City has the bags and the sand, but does not provide any labor. <br />City Administrator Ulrich confirmed the role of the City is to deliver sand and sandbags to <br />properties as needed.
