Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #14-07-128 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CUL-DE-SAC LENGTH IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF RABBIT MEADOWS AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. WHEREAS, Eric and Karla Thomsen (Permittee) have properly applied for a variance from the maximum cul-de-sac length prescribed in Section 117-614, Subd. (c)(3) on the property generally located east of Rabbit Street at the eastern terminus of 171' Ave and legally described as follows: That part of the south 560 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 32, Range 25 lying west of the east 542 feet thereof; as measured along the north line of said Quarter Quarter, except road subject to easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota Or upon platting and recording: Rabbit Meadows, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on July 10, 2014, conducted the public hearing and adopted Findings of Fact #0929 relating to the request for a variance from the maximum cul- de-sac length requirements on the Subject Property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows 1. Based on Findings of Fact #0929, a variance to the 600-foot cul-de-sac length, as established in Section 117-614, Subd. (c)(3) of the Ramsey City Code, is hereby granted for the Subject Property. 2. The variance allows for a cul-de-sac to be constructed to a maximum length of 751 feet. 3. The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and enforcing this variance. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained:
