Commissioner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #14-07-128 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CUL-DE-SAC <br />LENGTH IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF RABBIT MEADOWS AND DECLARING <br />TERMS OF SAME. <br />WHEREAS, Eric and Karla Thomsen (Permittee) have properly applied for a variance <br />from the maximum cul-de-sac length prescribed in Section 117-614, Subd. (c)(3) on the property <br />generally located east of Rabbit Street at the eastern terminus of 171' Ave and legally described <br />as follows: <br />That part of the south 560 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of <br />Section 8, Township 32, Range 25 lying west of the east 542 feet thereof; as <br />measured along the north line of said Quarter Quarter, except road subject to <br />easement of record, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />Or upon platting and recording: <br />Rabbit Meadows, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on July 10, 2014, conducted the public hearing <br />and adopted Findings of Fact #0929 relating to the request for a variance from the maximum cul- <br />de-sac length requirements on the Subject Property. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #0929, a variance to the 600-foot cul-de-sac length, as <br />established in Section 117-614, Subd. (c)(3) of the Ramsey City Code, is hereby granted <br />for the Subject Property. <br />2. The variance allows for a cul-de-sac to be constructed to a maximum length of 751 feet. <br />3. The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this variance. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />
