Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # 14-05-059 <br />RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Tim Gladhill, the current Development Services Manager, has <br />demonstrated exceptional performance; and <br />WHEREAS, the adopted three-year strategic plan calls for a reclassification of the <br />Development Services Manager in January 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the reclassification be moved up to June 1, 2014; and <br />WHEREAS, this reclassification is necessary to promote continuity of service to the public <br />through effective staffing management; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends reclassifying Mr. Tim Gladhill, the current <br />Development Services Manager, to Community Development Director effective June 1, <br />2014, to step 1 of the 2014 wage scale at $40.28 per hour, followed by a step change on <br />December 1, 2014 to step 2 of the wage scale at $42.30 per hour, contingent upon <br />continued exceptional performance; waiving the 6-month probationary period. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br />Motion to approve resolution #14-05-095, reclassifying Mr. Tim Gladhill, the current <br />Development Services Manager, to Community Development Director effective June 1, <br />2014, to step 1 of the 2014 wage scale at $40.28 per hour, followed by a step change on <br />December 1, 2014 to step 2 of the wage scale at $42.30 per hour, contingent upon <br />continued exceptional performance; waiving the 6-month probationary period. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member, <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 27t1i day of May, 2014. <br />
