<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #14-07-140 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL <br />POLICY BOARD’S 2014-2015 WORK PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the primary objective of the Environmental Policy Board is to review, <br />consider, initiate and recommend to City Council such policies, plans or projects that will enhance <br />and preserve the natural environment of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Environmental Policy Board’s scope includes, but is not necessarily <br />limited to, matters of the preservation of the community forest, water quality, wetland preservation, <br />ground water protection, ecological preservation, control of soil erosion and air, noise and light <br />pollution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Environmental Policy Board is responsible for developing an annual <br />work plan subject to the approval of the City Council. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves the 2014-2015 Work Plan <br />for the Environmental Policy Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Tossey <br /> <br />
