10. Report from Public Works Committee dated July 15, 2014. <br />1: Consider Guidelines for Uncontrolled Pedestrian Crossings: Ratify the recommendation of the <br />Public Works Committee to recommend that the City Council follow the Local Road Research Board <br />Manual on Pedestrian Crossings at Uncontrolled intersections. <br />2: Consider Engineering Study for Pedestrian Crosswalk at Armstrong Boulevard and 161 st Avenue: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee to recommend City Council accept staff <br />recommendation to leave the pedestrian crosswalk at Armstrong Boulevard and 161st Avenue as is <br />until pedestrian volumes increase, to direct staff to request Anoka County to add solar signalization, <br />and to direct staff to request police presence in the area for an appropriate length of time to raise <br />awareness. <br />5.
