Regular Planning Commission 5. 8. <br />Meeting Date: 08/07/2014 <br />By: Chris Anderson, Community <br />Development <br />Information <br />Title: <br />PUBLIC HEARING: Consider Ordinance Amendments Related to Home Occupation Standards <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Staff had intended to bring forward proposed revisions to Section 117-351 (Home Occupations) for consideration <br />and published a Notice of Public Hearing as to not lose a potential opportunity to have a draft Ordinance if said <br />Ordinance were to be ready. The amendments were to address various inconsistencies in the current ordinance and <br />to address concerns that have been raised during some of the more recent requests that have been reviewed. In <br />addition to general seasonal workload and the length of this agenda, Staff was unable to complete the intended <br />revisions for the August meeting and is seeking to have the public hearing continued to a future meeting to <br />complete the draft revisions.
