The Primary Election was held on Tuesday, August 12, and the City's eight polling <br />places were open for voting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The residents also had the opportunity to vote absentee if <br />they chose, either at Ramsey City Hall, at Anoka County Elections, or by mail. The total number of registered <br />voters in the City as of 7:00 a.m. on Election Day was 13,842. Persons registering on Election Day or during the <br />process of their absentee voting equaled 122.
