PREFACE TO CITY OF RAMSEY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The Mayor, Council, Staff and Commissions of the City of Ramsey feel it is important to preface
this document with a statement that reflects our vision and how this document should be regarded.
We think this is a document which reflects our general vision of how the City might look at some
point in the future. We also understand that as soon as this document is adopted, parts of it may be
outdated. As the City develops, land use, trails, and roads may be changed or realigned. We also
realize that not everyone in the City agrees with each and every aspect of this plan, and over time,
many of the provisions shown in the plan will be debated over and over again, not just by existing
Council, Staff, and Commissions, but by future Council, Staff, and Commissions.
Any individual or agency reviewing the document should realize that road alignments, trail
alignments, and land uses will change during the life of this document and should, therefore, not
draw any particular conclusions from the information enclosed without first consulting the Ramsey
City Council and Staff, Commissions, and residents.
/ccr
