The purpose for this summary is to focus on the action
steps to be taken by the consultant team.
Review of Land Use Working Paper #1.
Steven Schwanke reviewed the land use working paper #1. Several
changes were suggested by the planning commission. The revised
paper will be forwarded to the work group at its next meeting.
Review Of The Existing Zoning Map.
John Dietrich reviewed an enlarged zoning map of the City
prepared by RLK Associates. The purpose of this map is to
generate a consensus on the existing land uses in order to
prepare a "future land use" map for the City.
Several questions were raised regarding land uses shown on the
map. Sylvia Frolik will research these land use issues and amend
the map.
Transportation Issues With Adjacent Local Governments.
Bill Smith reviewed his findings regarding transportation issues
from visits with the Cities of Elk River, Dayton and Anoka. The
principal concern with each City is the development of
transportation corridors between cities.
. Civil Engineering . Transportation . Infrastructure Redevelopment
.
