1.9 Review with City Council <br />Review the proposed land use and policy changes with the <br />City Council. <br />Product: Make any necessary changes and prepare draft of <br />proposed comprehensive plan amendment to the <br />Metropolitan Council. <br />1.10 Assist City staff in preparing and submitting the proposed <br />comprehensive plan amendment to the Metropolitan Council; <br />preparing necessary material to support the plan amendment <br />submittal; make any necessary changes after the Metropolitan <br />Council has completed its review of the plan amendment. <br />Product: Final land use map and policies. <br />1.11 City Council Adoption Of Land Use Plan and Map. <br />RLK Associates will assist City staff in preparing final <br />materials for review by the City Council. <br />Product: Final land use plan and map. <br />2.0 ROAD SYSTEM PLAN <br />2.1 Data Gathering <br />Review the most recent plans, studies, and communications <br />related to the City of Ramsey's transportation system to <br />gain understanding of the current situation and future <br />plans. <br />2.2 Prepare Map Of The Previously -Planned Roadway System <br />Using an update plat map supplied by the City, prepare a <br />mock-up of a map that includes proposed, planned, and <br />committed road system improvements and modifications. <br />2.3 Analyze Transportation Plans of Neighboring Communities <br />Identify transportation issues, policies, and plan elements <br />of neighboring communities that would impact or be affected <br />by Ramsey's Transportation Plan Update. Analyze these to <br />determine consistency and continuity and need for <br />coordination efforts. <br />2.4 Prepare Draft Roadway System Plan <br />Review the existing City thoroughfare plan for collector and <br />arterial designations.
