According to State Statutes, no City meetings are allowed to be held during the times the <br />polling locations are open for voting. Council may elect to begin the meeting at 8:00 p.m., which is allowed as polls are closed by then, or reschedule to a <br />different night, which is what we have done in the past. Staff is recommending rescheduling the Tuesday, August 12 Council meeting to Monday, August 11. <br />Tuesday, November 11 is a regular City Council meeting night and City offices are closed in observance of Veterans' Day. Staff is recommending Council <br />reschedule the Tuesday, November 11 meeting to Wednesday, November 12. <br />If Council is not in agreement with the dates recommended by staff and would like to vote on something different, this case may be pulled from the Consent <br />Agenda for discussion. <br />Notification: <br />All meeting changes will be noticed with the Official Posting of the Meeting Schedule on the Posting Board in the lobby of the Municipal Center, as well as on <br />the City's website.
