<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:

<br />RESOLUTION #14-07-130
<br />
<br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION
<br />ON AUGUST 12, 2014
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS,
<br />the City of Ramsey will be conducting a Primary Election on August 12,
<br />2014; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS,
<br /> pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 204B.21, election judges for
<br />precincts in a municipality must be appointed by the governing body of that municipality; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS,
<br /> the hourly rate of pay will be $9.00 for election judge trainees, $9.50 for
<br />regular election judges and $10.00 for chairs.
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br />
<br />1) That the following individuals be appointed to serve as election judges for the Primary
<br />Election to be held on August 12, 2014:

<br />Bates, Richard Cords, Annie Giddings, Peggy Howe, Lana Howell, Carol Kociscak, Joyce

<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
<br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
