Information Title Adopt Resolution #14-07-126 Authorizing an Agreement with Tierney Brothers Incorporated for Purchase of Information Technology Equipment Purpose/Background: Purpose: Authorize Staff to enter into a purchase agreement with Tierney Brothers for AV/IT equipment upgrades in the Ramsey Municipal Center. Specifically, a new public meeting audio recording system in the Lake Itasca Room and Council Chambers; and, a replacement projector, projector screen and IT infrastructure in the Alexander Ramsey Room. The estimated cost for this work is $27,500-$39,000 and the funding source is QCTV Capital Account dollars ($100,000 balance). Background: This case was reviewed by the City Council on June 24, attached to this case is a copy of the original case presentation; which includes detailed background information. On June 24, staff was directed to move forward with the three proposed IT/AV projects within the Ramsey Municipal Center; and, moving forward, continue utilizing QCTV Capital Account Allocation dollars for IT/AV projects in public meeting facilities (i.e. continue existing informalCouncil policy).
